As the game of basketball progresses and the athletes get better and better, it is crucial for all players who are committed to being the best they can be work on their game year round--especially in summer basketball camps. You need to find a summer basketball camp that will challenge you to become a better "individual" player. To many focus on playing, but not improving individually.

Playing games is important to measure yourself against your level of competition. Too many players though focus all of their attention to games. Look for a summer basketball camp or clinic that will stress proper form and fundamentals, but will take you through harder and harder progressions to enhance your improvement. Use your summer to work hard, refresh your commitment to the game. Sometimes playing to much can expose you to over-training and injuries. Use your time wisely at a summer basketball camp.
